Dealing with life's changes
Sometimes things happen unexpectedly that can impact both you and your family. We understand that at this time your finances may be at the back of your mind and the thought of money sometimes can be too much to bear. We want you to know that we are here to help you as much as possible.

There are a number of ways we may be able to help you:

  • If you have a mortgage with us, we have a specialist team who can take you through the options you have to help with your payments, if this is a concern for you. Their number is 0800 389 7000 (Mon to Fri 8:30am to 7pm, Sat 9am to 1:30pm).
  • If your income has fallen as a result of an illness and you are in financial difficulty, we have a support team who may be able to help you. For more information on how we can help you, please visit our Money Worries page
  • If you feel you need help with your day-to-day banking, you can register someone you trust as an attorney on your account. For more information on this, take a look at our Power of Attorney information page
  • We appreciate you may not want to discuss your private matters at the branch counter, so we will make sure you can talk to one of our advisers away from the main banking hall, just ask a branch adviser for the use of a private room. Find a branch
  • If you feel you don't want to talk to someone over the telephone or in the branch, you can send us a secure message using Online Banking.
