Spending on this credit card – here’s what you should know

This card is designed to help you save money on balance transfers. It also gives you 0% interest on purchases for the first 3 months. And using a credit card for purchases can offer a lot of benefits, as we explain below.

But after the 3-month period, if you still have an outstanding balance transfer on your card, you’ll be charged interest on any new purchases you make. This will happen even if you pay them off during the month. Interest will continue to be charged until you can clear the balance of your card in full, including the balance transfer amount.

So think carefully about how you plan to use the card, and the overall cost to you, before deciding if it’s the right one for you.

Want to transfer a balance?

Use this calculator to see which credit card could give you the best savings. Our calculator is for illustrative purposes only, and savings may vary depending on your repayments.

How the calculator works
We’ll show you the credit card options in order of the lowest cost to you based on how much you would like to transfer and pay back each month.

Estimated savings
This is an illustrative example of how much you could save in interest over the months it could take to pay off your balance in full. This is based on you transferring your balance to us from a credit card with an APR of 23.9% and always making the monthly payment entered.

Total cost
This includes any balance transfer fees or monthly fees plus any interest charged over the time it would take you to pay off your balance in full. This does not include your original balance transfer amount.

Minimum amount of £100

This will adjust if the amount you enter is lower than what we think your current minimum payment is on your existing card.
