Activating your new card

You can use your new debit card right away, though you will need to make a purchase using chip and PIN or use a cash machine so contactless payments can start working.

Forgotten your PIN? 

You can view it in the mobile app. Go to ‘More’, click ‘Cards’, then ‘View PIN’.

You can easily activate your new credit card in Online Banking. 

  • Log on to Online Banking
  • Click the ‘My details & settings’ tab
  • Go to ‘Other services’
  • Scroll down to ‘Credit card services’ and click ‘Activate a new credit card’
  • We’ll then send a One Time Passcode (OTP) to your registered mobile number
  • Enter your OTP to activate your card 

If you’re not set up for Online Banking, you can easily register online

Chat with us 

You can also quickly activate your credit card in Mobile and Online Banking with our digital assistant Sandi, available 24/7.

In Mobile Banking: 

  • log on to Mobile Banking
  • click ‘More’ in the bottom-right corner then ‘Help and contact us’ 
  • choose ‘Chat with us’ 
  • ask to activate your new credit card and follow the steps. 

In Online Banking: 

  • log on to Online Banking 
  • click ‘Chat with us’ on the right-hand side of the screen
  • ask to activate your new credit card and follow the steps. 

Additional cardholders will need to activate their card over the phone. Visit our contact us page and click 'Call now'.
