You’re 16 or over and have lived in the UK for less than 12 months
You don’t already have a Basic Current Account, or more than one other current account with Santander
You will need to provide proof of ID, such as a passport, your share code / visa and proof of address such as your university banking letter

Identity requirements
You need to show one document to prove your name and one document to prove your address. For international students this might be:
- Non-UK/Non-Irish Passport
- National ID Card/Citizen Photocard EU/EEA/Swiss
- Visa share code
- University/College Admissions Letter
