0% interest on everything you buy with your Santander credit card until December 31st 2026. Spreading the costs has never been so easy.

 

Use your card for purchases between now and 31 December 2026, and they’ll be interest free. If you have additional cardholders, their purchases will be interest free too. So if you’re planning a big buy or just doing your weekly shop, it costs nothing to spread the cost. 

A few things aren’t classed as purchases, such balance transfers, cash advances and gambling. Check out down below for what’s not included. 

Your 0% deal is already set up on your account and ready to use. We’ll have been in touch to let you know which Santander card it applies to.

Keeping you in the loop

 

We’ll send monthly statements in the usual way. Pay what you can afford, at least the minimum payment or a higher amount that you choose. When you get your January statement, if you pay it in full you will avoid any interest.

Anything you spend at the end of December can take a few days to clear so may not appear on your January statement, which means they're not part of the 0% promotion.

If you don’t pay your January statement in full, your purchases will start being charged interest from your February statement onwards.
From February onwards, any purchase remaining balance will be charged at your standard interest rate, which will be on your statement. We’ll remind you before the 0% offer ends.

If you take out another credit card, the offer won’t transfer over.

  • Travel and holidays
  • Eating out and entertainment

 

Sorry - balance transfers, cash withdrawals and gambling are excluded. Check out down below for what else isn’t included.

0% or not, you should only spend what you can comfortably afford.

Keep an eye on your spending using the Santander App or Online Banking — we’ll also send you a monthly statement that will show your transactions. And you can set up alerts and manage your credit limit in the Santander App.

Thought about a Direct Debit?

You can make sure you never miss a repayment by setting up a Direct Debit. It means you can avoid fees and charges.

Had a Direct Debit before? Check your latest statement to make sure it’s still active. If it’s not listed on the front page, you’ll need to set one up (this can take up to four weeks).

You can set up any direct debit between the minimum amount, a fixed amount and your full balance. But remember, paying off in full during the promotion means you don’t spread the cost with our 0% offer.

You can also make manual payments at any time.

‘Eligible Purchases’ are purchases of goods and services. Eligible Purchases don’t include balance transfers, cash advances, travellers’ cheques, foreign currency and money orders, interest, unauthorised or fraudulent transactions, advances used for lottery or gambling payments, or Direct Debits or standing orders paid into the account.

If you currently have a 0% balance transfer promotion which ends before January, any payments you make will be used to pay that off first.

This means your purchase balance could remain for longer, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on how your balance is made up and make sure you’re comfortable paying it off when needed — especially before January.

If you decide to take a 0% balance transfer promotion that ends after your January statement, then you’ll still need to pay off your purchases in January. This is detailed on your statement.

This offer applies to the account mentioned in your communication (you’ll see the last four digits of the card there).

If you have additional cardholders, their spending is included too, as it all sits under the same account.

Your statement will show your current interest rates and you’ll also be able to see which purchases are at 0% within your transactions.
 

If your card is lost or needs replacing, you can quickly request a new one in the Santander mobile app.
