First time log on
Log on to the Mobile Banking app.
You'll be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions to continue.
Then, you may be asked to enter your Personal ID. This lets us know who is trying to log on.
You'll be verified using different methods. This may be your security number or something else. You should never share any of these details with anyone else, even Santander staff. Tap 'Forgotten details?' if you don't remember your Security Number.
We'll register the app to your phone securely. To do this, we'll send you a One Time Passcode (OTP) by SMS, which you’ll be asked to enter in the app. If you share your device with someone else, only one person can use the app.
You may be asked to confirm your identity using your passport or another form of photo ID. You can tap ‘Yes, continue’ to do this. If you’re unable to do this, you can tap ‘No, not right now’ and we’ll ask you to do this another time.
If you choose not to use your ID now, we’ll remind you about this later. You can tap ‘Confirm my identity’ to do an ID check, or ‘Remind me later’ to authenticate you in a different way.
Device registration will take place. Once this is successful, you'll be able to access the app.
