Our free 4-year Santander Railcard offer is now closed
If you’ve opened a savings account with us, and you're hoping to take advantage of this offer, here are a few reminders.
- Don’t forget to set up Online and/or Mobile Banking by 31 May. You’ll need access to Online and/or Mobile Banking to receive your unique railcard code in your ‘statements and documents’ section.
- It could take until 16 June for the code to land in your ‘statements and documents’ section.
- If you have still haven't received your code after the 16th June, please get in touch
To be eligible for the 4-year Santander Railcard, you must:
- Be aged between 20 to 25 on 30 June 2025
- Open a Santander savings account. There are plenty to choose from, including Easy Access Saver, Regular Saver and Limited Access Saver
- Pay in at least £50 by 31 May 2025 and keep at least £50 in that account until 30 June 2025*
- Be registered for Online and/or Mobile Banking by 31 May 2025

If you're eligible, we'll send you a unique railcard redemption code. You’ll get an email to tell you it’s arrived.
It could take until 16 June for it to land in your statements and documents section in Online/Mobile Banking.
You’ll have until 30 June 2025 to redeem your code. You can choose a digital or physical railcard when claiming your free railcard
You'll need to pay at least £50 into your new Santander savings account by 31 May 2025. Make sure you keep at least £50 in that account until 30 June 2025. Please read the key facts document as the minimum balance for our accounts vary.
