You can securely access and manage any of your accounts through Online Banking and Mobile Banking. Log on with your computer, tablet or smartphone or use Mobile Banking on your phone.

If you have more than one account or a credit card, a mortgage or investments with us, you'll also be able to manage them through Online Banking.

Our secure website and app uses strong 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to keep your details safe.

Keeping your details secure online

We provide multiple ways to keep your details safe online.

  • Your log on details are unique to you.
  • Depending on your device, you can choose TouchID or FaceID to log on to Mobile Banking with your fingerprint or face.
  • For some transfers and payments, we'll ask additional security questions. We'll send you a One Time Passcode (OTP) or refer you to our Mobile Banking app, so that we can check it's you. Read more about our online security here
  • Your online transactions are covered by our Online and Mobile Banking Commitment.

We recommend you always keep your computer's virus and malware software up-to-date. You can also download the free Trusteer Rapport software from IBM to protect your data online

We guarantee to refund money taken from your account if you've been a victim of fraud. This guarantee doesn't apply if you've committed fraud or weren't responsible with your security information.

Protect yourself from scams online

Scammers trick people into sharing their bank details and making payments to unknown parties. They approach anyone by using false stories and situations that sound genuine to convince you they're real. You can stop this and protect yourself by learning some techniques these criminals use. To sign up for Online Banking you’ll need your mobile phone and either: 

  • your debit or credit card, or 
  • your banking or savings account number and sort code. 

Once you’ve registered, we’ll send your secure log on details in the post.

If you’re already using Online Banking, download Mobile Banking for your phone or device. Then you can log on with the same details you use for Online Banking and you’re ready to go.

You can download our app on your mobile phone or device from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. Just click on one of the logos below to get started. We don’t ever recommend downloading apps from other third-party sites.
