With roots dating back to the 1990s, Goals is one of the UK’s biggest operators of Football Association accredited centres. They have 400 pitches spread across 44 venues throughout the UK.
After initially onboarding with Santander in 2020, it was a tale of two halves for the business. There were long periods of closure in 2020, which were then offset by a record breaking game count when the business reopened. The strength of this performance has continued and has prompted the leadership team to pursue a management buyout.
Goals is delighted to have partnered with Santander who worked hard to understand our business, particularly as the relationship started in early 2020. They have been amazing, financing the business under strict commercial deadlines, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with Santander.
