Fighting fraud
When you’re dealing with personal challenges, staying savvy about fraud is the last thing you want to think about. But you could be more likely to fall victim to an attack when you’ve got other things on your mind. Before you act, stop and ask yourself these 3 questions:
- Is this an expected communication or payment request?
- Are they asking you for security information such as PINs or passwords?
- Are they asking you to download software or to log into your computer remotely?
