Beginning Monday 18th May 2020, Santander UK has joined forces with The F2 Freestylers and Twinkl to release daily football-themed maths videos and free maths learning materials online for children aged between 5 to 11 years. The Numbers Game campaign aims to harness the transformative power of football to support children’s learning and development of maths skills. This is supported by Twinkl’s fun, active and meaningful maths worksheets and challenges, which are in line with UK curriculums.

•    Funding, provided through Santander Universities, will support university initiatives such as the production of protective equipment for NHS staff, provision of fully funded virtual internships for local businesses, as well as provision of IT equipment for students to support educational challenges

Bespoke uniform creator, Jalin Design, has secured a loan of £250k from Santander UK through the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) to support the business through the coronavirus pandemic.

Aqua, an independent family run group of restaurants in the south west of England, has secured £165k funding from Santander UK through the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS), to support the business during the outbreak.

From 3 August 2020, Santander will be reducing the in-credit interest rate for its 1I2I3, Select and Private Current Accounts, from 1.00% to 0.6% on balances up to £20,000.

Harley Street Dental Studio, a purpose built multi-disciplinary dental clinic, which provides general and cosmetic dentistry, smile makeovers, orthodontics and dental implants, has secured a finance package from Santander UK and the Government’s Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS).  The seven-figure funding package will support the business, which has had to temporarily close following regulatory advice during the coronavirus pandemic. 

Colchester based business Pallet Plus, which collects and delivers palletised freight and goods in the UK, Ireland and Europe, has agreed a working capital overdraft facility with Santander UK and the Government’s Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) to support the business during the coronavirus pandemic.
