Watertight management expanding to new premises following £500,000 funding from Santander

Bromsgrove-based company Watertight Management Ltd, specialists in civil engineering and clean and waste water management services, is set to open new premises at Saxon Business Park in Bromsgrove following £522,000 in funding from Santander Business Banking.

Watertight Management began in 2010 after joint owners Tom Collings and Paul Castle decided to combine their years of experience in the water and utility industries. Since then the business has established itself as a market leader in the provision of water management services. In the last three years the business has grown substantially, to 21 employees. Turnover and profitability has also seen year on year growth.

The business has won a number of successful contracts recently, including multiple clean water main laying schemes renewing clean drinking water infrastructure, as well as numerous repair and maintenance contracts for various water companies throughout the UK. Beyond this it undertakes a broad cross section of works through its various operating arms, including civil engineering schemes as well as property development. The business also specialises in clean water leakage detection and network validation through to repair and maintenance for UK water companies, the Government, County Councils, business corporations, house building companies & associations, Small Independent users and domestic customers.

The £522,000 funding package from Santander Business Banking has allowed Watertight Management to purchase new premises in Saxon Business Park in Bromsgrove to cater for the strong market demand. The new location will provide the business with the space and capacity to continue to grow, investing in IT infrastructure as well as bricks and mortar.

Tom Collings, Director, Watertight Management Ltd, said: “Our passion is to deliver clean drinking water from source to tap, which we have achieved for a broad spectrum of clients both nationally and internationally. The new property will offer the right impression to the big blue-chip companies we work with and provide space for our increased numbers of staff. The team at Santander has been fantastic throughout the purchase and we look forward to working with them as our business continues to grow.”

Chris Gagg, Business Relationship Director, Santander Business Banking, said: “Tom and Paul and the rest of the team at Watertight epitomise everything that a successful, growing SME business in the UK should be. To have been able to assist them with such an important part of their long-term planning with this property purchase is so rewarding and after switching their main banking across to us, I am sure that this is only the first of many major milestones we will hit together as our partnership grows in the coming months and years.”
