Virtus Traffic Management Solutions (“Virtus”), traffic management consultants, has purchased a new premises in Coalville following £150,500 in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial.

Virtus has been trading since 2011 and was established to provide specialist engineering services and professional support to the traffic management, highways and construction industry. Virtus has expanded by five employees a year since 2011 and had outgrown its rented premises in Ibstock, Leicestershire. The funding provided by Santander Corporate & Commercial allowed the business to purchase its own freehold premises in Coalville and since moving in, Virtus has employed another three people.

Paul Spreadbury, Director, Virtus Traffic Management Solutions, said: “We are delighted to have acquired these new premises in Coalville. Our aim was always to move out of rented premises eventually and we felt that given the growth in recent years, and looking at our secured order book for 2016 onwards, the time was right to make the move. Since we began trading in 2011, Santander has provided financial support, enabling us to manage our growth.”

Andrew Bullock, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial said: “Since we began working with Paul and his team the business has gone from strength to strength. Virtus has worked with some impressive authorities and companies and we are confident that the new premises will enable them to continue this strong level of growth.”
