From today (01 April 2026), new and existing Santander customers can nab themselves £180, in addition to a £25 Amazon gift card, when switching to eligible current accounts.
Customers using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS)1 to switch to a Santander Everyday, Edge, Edge Up, Edge Explorer, or Private (v2) current account can qualify for the new £180 switcher offer.
To be eligible to snap up the £180 switcher offer, customers must:
• Submit a switch request on or after 1 April 2026 and before the switcher offer is withdrawn2,
• Complete the full switch within 60 days of the initial switch request, including closing their external account,
• Pay in at least £1,500 to their eligible Santander account within 60 days of the initial switch request, which can be done through one or more payments,
• Set up at least two active household Direct Debits within 60 days of the initial switch request, and
• Not have held a Santander current account on 1st January 2025.
Eligible customers3 will receive their payment within 90 days of starting the switch process4.
To be eligible for the Amazon gift card offer5, customers must:
• Open an eligible current account through one of the participating price comparison websites, such as MoneySavingExpert, MoneySuperMarket, Experian or Clearscore.6
• Make five debit card transactions within 30 days of opening their Santander current account.

Existing Santander Edge current account, Edge Up current account, Everyday Current Account and Private current account (v2) customers, can also use the Current Account Switch Service (CASS) to transfer their balances and direct debits from bank accounts with other providers into their existing Santander current account to benefit from the offer.

6. The £25 Amazon gift card offer is available across various price comparison websites. To qualify, customers need to apply for a Santander Edge, Edge Up, Edge Explorer or Everyday current account on the participating price comparison website, be approved for the relevant account, and complete five debit card transactions within 30 days of opening. The account must also remain open. If eligibility is met, the customer will receive an email from noreply@vouchersent.com, which will contain details of how to claim their gift card.
