Yorkshire based company Alpha Cars (North Yorkshire) Ltd, a local independent quality used car retailer and provider of vehicle repair and MOT services, is to continue to grow as a result of investment from Santander Corporate & Commercial, which has furnished the company with the opportunity to make a range of improvements to its premises and stock, leading to an increase in sales and demand.
Alpha Cars is a family business owned and run by father and daughter team Martin and Simone Ward, with over 40 years combined experience in the motor trade. The company enjoys a fantastic reputation locally and is considered a trusted garage by many, with a high number of returning customers and many new customers visiting as a result of recommendations and referrals.
The funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial provided Alpha Cars with flexible working capital facilities and directly allowed for vast improvements to be carried out to their premises in Catterick Garrison. The funding also enabled the business to increase the level of stock they were able to hold which has led to a marked increase in sales, with September 2015 proving to be the busiest month the business has seen to date.
Alpha Cars has also now completed the construction of a new valet bay which will inevitably lead to even further growth. The company has had to employ a further four members of staff to deal with the increase in business and this increase in demand is expected to continue to grow, especially with the business exploring the possibility of taking on interns to grow the marketing side of the company.
