This is especially important if there are specific areas where cover is important to you to make sure this policy meets your needs.
Travel Insurance
If you, or anyone to be insured under the policy have any pre-existing medical conditions, you’ll need to declare these as soon as your account is open. Chubb will let you know if they can provide cover for these and if so, how much it’ll cost.
If you want to discuss pre-existing medical conditions before you apply, you can contact Chubb on 0800 519 8034.
Also, please note you or anyone to be insured under this policy won’t be covered if they’ve been diagnosed with a terminal condition, or if they’re travelling to obtain medical treatment against medical advice.
I understand that my personal data will be shared with Santander’s insurance providers so that they can provide me with the Santander Edge Explorer insurance benefits. This will include information you provide to us in your application such as your name, address and date of birth. We will also share with the travel insurance provider, Chubb, if you tell us that you or someone else insured under this policy has any pre-existing medical conditions. This is so that they can remind you to complete your medical screening.
Please see their privacy notices included in the Insurance Policy Wording Booklet (PDF - 4.07 MB) for full information on how they will use your data.
