Charities
We offer fee-free banking for:
- registered charities
- charities that don’t need to register
charities with excepted status.
The Charity Commission looks after registered charities in England and Wales. Even if you're a charity, not all charities need to register.
Your charity must register with the Commission if:
- it has, or expects to have, an annual income of over £5,000
- it is not an exempt or excepted charity.
You can read more about how to register a charity using these links:

Keeping us up to date
It’s important that you keep your information up to date. Please tell us if any of these change:
- The people who run your charity or not for profit organisation
- Your charity’s registered address
- The nature of your organisation, for example, your usual activities
- The type of business you are, for example, if you’re no longer a charity.
