Account information

The highest APR we can offer on any loan is 29.9%. The interest rate we offer you may be different, depending on your personal and business situation.

APR means Annual Percentage Rate. It shows an example for you to compare a loan against other products. This includes the interest and any fees. It's shown as a percentage.

The rate you’re offered will depend on things like your credit history and your financial situation.

Repayments

We’ll take your loan repayments by Direct Debit each month.

Your first payment will be taken one month after we pay the money to you. After that, your payment will be taken on the same date each month.

Your monthly payment amount will stay the same for the whole loan term.

You can make extra payments at any time before your final payment is due. You can also pay off your loan in full. Your loan agreement explains how to do this.

Change of business details

In line with the terms and conditions of your loan, we must hold accurate details about your business and all the people associated with it. This helps us to keep your account safe. If any of your business details change, visit our change of details page to get started. This includes personal guarantees. You can find out more about personal guarantees on our dedicated personal guarantees page

Early repayment

You can make extra payments at any time before your final payment is due. You can also pay off your loan in full. If you’d like to do this, call us on 0330 123 9860.

Settlement figure

If you want to pay off your loan in full, we’ll give you a settlement figure. This is the total amount you need to pay. It includes the money you still owe and the interest up to the day you repay the loan. We’ll assume you will repay the loan within 28 days, so the figure will include interest for those 28 days.

To find out the amount needed to repay your loan in full (we sometimes call this your settlement figure), call us on 0330 123 9860. We’ll send you a breakdown including any charges that will apply.

Payment holidays

We don’t offer payment holidays for our business loans at the moment. If you’re having trouble making your payments or think you might miss one, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help you. Please call us on 0330 123 9860 to talk about your options.

Direct Debits

We'll set up the Direct Debit from your Santander Business Current Account. However, you can change this at any time once the loan is opened.

Paper-free

This is a paper-free account which means:

  • Important documents and statements will be sent as e-Documents to your secure inbox on Mobile and Online Banking.
  • You'll need to provide us with an email address when you open the account as we’ll send you an email to let you know when a document is ready to view.
  • If you prefer to receive statements and other information by post, you can update your account settings once the account has been open for 24 hours. To do this, please call us on 0330 123 9860.
