Santander UK has today reduced selected residential purchase and remortgage fixed rates by between 0.05% and 0.29%.

The new rates can be found online here. Examples of rates that have been reduced include:

  • 75% loan to value (LTV) five year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with a £999 product fee is now priced at 5.30%, down from 5.59%.
  • 75% LTV five year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with no product fee is now priced at 5.46%, down from 5.75%.
  • 75% LTV two year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with no product fee is now priced at 6.22%, down from 6.49%
  • 85% LTV two year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with a £999 product fee is now priced at 6.09%, down from 6.27%.
  • 90% LTV two year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with no purchase fee is now priced at 6.57%, down from 6.69%.

There will be no changes to residential trackers or the Buy to Let range. Product transfer rates are also not changing.

Today’s reductions are the second time this month Santander has reduced fixed mortgage rates. Reductions were also made to fixed rate products on Friday 4 August 2023.
