•    Michelle Hinchliffe appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director 

Santander UK announces the appointment of Michelle Hinchliffe as an Independent Non-Executive Director (‘INED’) to the Boards of Santander UK plc and Santander UK Group Holdings Plc (together ‘Santander UK’), effective from 1 June 2023.  Michelle Hinchliffe will succeed Chris Jones as the Chair of the Board Audit Committee with effect from 1 September 2023, subject to regulatory approval, and will also join the Board Risk and Responsible Banking Committees.  

Michelle Hinchliffe has extensive experience in the financial services sector following a 37-year career with KPMG.  She is also an INED on the Board of BHP Group Limited and Macquarie Group Limited and Macquarie Bank Limited.
