- Santander UK has launched its latest student prize draw, with a top prize of a lifechanging £100,000 up for grabs.
- Every eligible Santander Edge Student current account customer will win at least £20, with over a thousand larger cash prizes ranging from £100 to £100,000 available.
- Santander Edge Student current account also offers a free four-year Santander 16-25 Railcard, worth £115, which gives customers a third off train travel in Great Britain, as well as an interest-free overdraft of £1,500 for the first three years of study, spending analytics, and access to Santander Regular Saver account, at 5.00% AER/gross fixed for 12 months.
Santander UK has today launched its latest prize draw for new Santander Edge Student current account customers, enabling one lucky winner to kick start their future with £100,000 up for grabs, along with a free financial support session.1 Other cash prizes range from £20 to £10,000, with every account in the prize draw winning a minimum of £20, and over a thousand prizes of £100 or more.
To be eligible to enter the prize draw, customers must open a Santander Edge student current account between 22 July 2025 and 17 October 2025 - and make a debit card transaction – by 31 December 2025. Each debit card transaction equals one entry to the prize draw and is capped at 40 entries per month’2 with every customer eligible to win one cash prize.
Prizes are as follows:
- 1 x £100,000
- 5 x £10,000
- 50 x £1,000
- 1000 x £100
- If customers do not win one of the above cash prizes, they will receive £20.
Benefits of the Santander Edge Student current account include:
- Free four-year Santander 16-25 Railcard, worth £115, which gives customers a third off train travel across England, Scotland, Wales, and the London Underground when the card is linked to an Oyster card. The average 16-25 Railcard user saves £2083a year with the card, meaning a potential average saving of £832 over a four-year term.
- An interest-free overdraft of £1,500 for the first three years of study. This can increase up to £1,800 in the fourth year and up to £2,000 in the fifth year (Subject to status, and if students continue with their studies).
- No fees for using Santander cash machines abroad.
- Access to Santander Regular Saver account at 5.00% AER/gross (fixed) for 12 months.
