As ‘A’ level and Higher results are announced and students start to think about the term ahead, Santander Universities is offering 200 UK students a chance to receive a grant worth £500. Both undergraduates and postgraduates can apply for the grant1, which can be used towards living expenses or to purchase a variety of resources directly from Santander Aspire webstore, including laptops, printers, internet data and much more.
Students can apply by registering on the Santander Scholarship Platform and enrolling into the prize draw. The deadline for applicants is 11pm on the 31 October 2022.
Santander is committed to supporting students on their education journey and has been the number one student current account provider by market share2 since 2013. Last year over two in five new student current accounts were opened with the Bank.
Santander’s 1I2I3 Student Current Account comes with a free four-year Santander 16-25 Railcard providing students and apprentices (levels four to seven) a third off standard rail fares across Great Britain, saving an average of £636 over the course of the four-year Railcard3.
All students can apply for the account online regardless of their year of study. In addition to the four-year Railcard, the Santander account offers:

- Access to exclusive 1I2I3 World benefits including preferential deals on other financial products.5
The account is quick and easy to open online and delivers banking on the go with online and mobile banking. Students will also receive a contactless debit card and access to Apple Pay, Android Pay and Samsung Pay.
