Santander UK has announced it is expanding the access to My Home Manager on the Santander mobile app to all customers. Previously, only Santander mortgage customers had access to the features but now all customers can receive the personalised services to super-charge their home management.

My Home Manager brings services together to help customers get more from their home, including being able to check the property’s Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), book home fixes and repairs, create checklists for home moving, and compare broadband and TV deals.

In addition, all customers can now get a free EnergyFact home energy report, in partnership with Countrywide Surveying Services, showing what energy-efficient improvements could be made to help reduce a home’s carbon footprint based on the information provided.

Further additions to My Home Manager include:

  • A new Home energy solutions feature, which allows customers to make their home more energy efficient. Through partner, MakeMyHouseGreen, customers can find out whether solar panels are suitable for their home, obtain a quote and arrange an installation. Additionally, customers can explore EV chargers, power diverters and batteries from partners MyEnergi.
  • Special offers on Sky subscriptions.
  • Additional services added to the Fix & Maintain feature allowing customers to book boiler servicing for their home.

Tracie Pearce, Chief Customer Officer, Homes, said: “We are delighted to announce that My Home Manager is now available to all customers providing them with easy, practical, and tailored support to help manage the costs of running a home.

“Over 100,000 customers have benefitted from using My Home Manager so far, and the new features are driven by what our customers have told us they’d like to see. From home moving assistance, to information on how to save money on energy bills, and access to green technology such as solar panels and EV chargers, we hope this will add even more support to our customers in managing their homes.”

Santander customers can download the Santander mobile app on their smartphone or device from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. More details can be found here. Santander will continue to add new features on an ongoing basis and customers can see what is planned in the ‘What’s next’ section of My Home Manager.
