RobinsonsFM Secures £500K Invoice Finance Facility from Santander to Support the Business Through the Coronavirus Pandemic

• £500k disclosed invoice discount facility secured for recruitment specialist RobinsonsFM
• The company recently revised strategy to adapt to growing need for temporary staff in the NHS
• The facility will support the company in ensuring weekly payments go to temporary recruits on time and they can continue to deliver on their growth targets

RobinsonsFM Limited, a facilities management recruitment specialist, has secured a £500k invoice finance facility from Santander UK to support the business through the Coronavirus pandemic.

RobinsonsFM was founded in 2018 and has since been growing as a permanent recruiter into the facilities management sector. Given the increased demand for facilities management support in the NHS due to coronavirus, the company recently revised its strategy to include the provision of temporary recruitment for cleaners, porters, waste operatives and technicians.

Since the outbreak of Coronavirus, RobinsonsFM has supplied 105 essential workers to the NHS and other care facilities. The recruitment firm is now also listed as one of the NHS’s preferred suppliers.

RobinsonsFM had specialised in recruiting permanent staff for the facilities management sector. As the outbreak began to impact businesses across the UK, and permanent job openings reduced significantly, the business switched course and began employing temporary staff. The funding from Santander UK injected much needed cash in order to pay the temporary workers’ wages and manage cashflow.

Nicola Robinson, Managing Director, RobinsonsFM, said: “I cannot praise highly enough Santander’s professionalism, expertise and clear communication. This was crucial to enable the facility to be completed from first call to paying the first set of temporary NHS staff wages within two weeks – amazing.”

Sean Flannery, Invoice Finance Specialist, Santander UK, said: “RobinsonsFM has only been operating since 2018 and adapted quickly to changing demand. We are happy to support the business as it recruits essential workers to the NHS during this difficult time.”
