UK Truck Group is a Hertfordshire-based, family run group of businesses that specialise in supplying commercial vehicle parts as well as the repair and maintenance of trucks.

Santander UK is supporting the group’s growth plans with a £5m funding package. The funding is tailored to the group’s unique needs and includes invoice finance and a commercial property loan. The package supports the group’s purchase this year of its new operating premises, UK Truckcentre in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, which has been appointed as a Renault Truck Commercials service point. The group has also switched its day-to-day banking to Santander UK.

The group includes businesses: UK Truck Parts, which provides commercial vehicle parts to businesses and has an additional base in Flamstead, Hertfordshire; UK Truckrepairs, which provides repairs and maintenance services on commercial vehicles and has contracts with a number of supermarkets among other clients; UK Truckcentre, which now operates as a Renault Trucks dealership; and new business Commercial Fleet, which buys and sells vehicles and provides commercial vehicles for hire and lease.

UK Truck Group was founded in 2013 by John Culora, now its managing director. The family-run business has grown consistently over the past eight years, expanding its offering to clients and providing a market-leading service.

John Culora, Managing Director, UK Truck Group said: “Our partnership with Santander UK has been integral to our development plans for the UK Truckcentre dealership in Hoddesdon, allowing us to implement our growth strategy and expand our offering to new and existing clients.”

Craig Carter, Relationship Director at Santander UK, said: “We are pleased to support UK Truck Group’s plans by providing it with a funding package tailored to its unique needs. The group has an exciting future ahead, particularly with the development of the UK Truckcentre, which extends its existing commercial vehicle offering into the dealership business.”
