Santander UK reduced selected fixed mortgage rates for new business by up to 0.21%

Santander UK has today made reductions to selected fixed rates for new business across its purchase, remortgage, and buy-to-let range.

Examples of the residential purchase rate changes include:

  • 60% LTV two-year fixed rate with a £999 purchase fee is now priced at 4.65%, down from 4.69%.
  • 60% LTV five-year fixed rate with a £999 purchase fee is now priced at 4.24%, down from 4.29%.
  • 75% LTV three-year fixed rate, for new builds only, with a £999 purchase fee is now priced at 4.64%, down from 4.68%.

The residential remortgage rate changes include:

  • 75% LTV two-year fixed rate, remortgage only with no fee is now priced at 5.10%, down from 5.25%.
  • 75% LTV three-year fixed rate, remortgage only with no fee is now priced at 4.98%, down from 5.19%.

The buy to let products that have been reduced include:

  • 60% LTV two-year fixed rate for buy-to-let purchase and remortgage with no fee is now priced at 5.24%, down from 5.36%.
