  • Santander UK provides multi-million pound funding package to support the acquisition by Diagrama Foundation’s healthcare arm
  • Duckyls Farm Centre is undergoing a refurbishment and capacity expansion following the acquisition

Residential care home Duckyls Farm Centre in West Sussex is undergoing a refurbishment and expansion programme following its acquisition by Diagrama Healthcare Services – the healthcare arm of Diagrama Foundation - which will enable its tailored support services to reach a larger number of vulnerable people in the local community.

Santander UK provided a multi-million pound funding package to support Diagrama Healthcare Services’ acquisition of the residential care home, near East Grinstead, and its surrounding 99 acres of land. The centre currently provides personal care and accommodation for eight people with learning disabilities and autism.

In addition to refurbishing the home, Diagrama Healthcare Services plans to increase capacity at the property to accommodate 12 residents by the end of the year. It is also developing a petting ‘zoo’ and outdoor activity facilities on the grounds, which it will make available for use by the residents and service users of other specialist care homes in the area.

Duckyls Farm Centre brings Diagrama Healthcare Services’ portfolio of care homes to three. It operates Cabrini House, a home for adults with learning difficulties in Bromley, London, and Edensor Care Centre, which offers dementia, nursing and residential care for the elderly in Essex. Additionally, it holds a supported living contract with Bromley Council for 35 service users across seven houses, as well as operating a fostering and adoption service in the South East of England.
Diagrama Healthcare Services was founded in 2014, and is the healthcare arm of Diagrama Foundation, a charity which started in Spain. It has banked with Santander UK since 2018, when the bank provided it with funding to support its acquisition of Cabrini House.

David McGuire, Chief Executive Officer, Diagrama Healthcare Services, said: “We’re delighted to work in such a strong partnership with Santander UK, which has an in-depth understanding of our aims and objectives. This working relationship helps us achieve our ambitious growth plans, meaning we can support more vulnerable young people and adults to live their best lives.”

Joshan Moustafa, Relationship Director at Santander UK, said: “It has been inspiring to see the positive work that Diagrama Healthcare Services has been doing in the community over the five years that it has banked with us, and the high-quality care it provides to its residents and service users. Santander UK is proud to provide it with the funding to support its latest acquisition of Duckyls Farm Centre.”
