Go gold with your 1|2|3 Current Account
You can choose to have a Gold Visa debit card (for no additional cost) with your 1|2|3 Current Account. If you're a Santander Select customer, the Gold Visa debit card means fee-free withdrawals when you use Santander branded cash machines in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, the USA and when you use Santander cash machines in Brazil which display the 'Cirrus' and 'Plus' brands.
We'll waive the 2.75% foreign exchange fee when you use these cash machines, as well as the £1.99/ 1.5% cash handling fee. Some cash machines will ask you if you'd like to transact in Sterling or the local currency. To make the withdrawal fee-free please make sure that you choose the local currency.
Your £750 daily limit
The Gold Visa debit card also gives you a higher daily cash withdrawal limit of £750 - both at home and abroad. Not all cash machines will allow you to withdraw £750 in one transaction so you may need to take out your money in multiple transactions.
If your Gold Visa debit card is lost or stolen abroad and you need emergency cash, we can arrange with Visa for funds to be available to you within 24 hours. Visa will find the most convenient Western Union or other suitable pick-up location, confirm the amount needed in the local currency and will let you know the opening hours for your desired location. In most cases you'll need to provide photo ID to collect the cash. If this has also been lost or stolen, Visa will discuss available options with you.

Purchases abroad with the 1|2|3 Credit Card
If you have a 1|2|3 Credit Card, you won't be charged any foreign transaction fees (also known as Non-Sterling Transaction Fees) on purchases abroad when you pay in the local currency.
Furthermore, if your card is lost or stolen abroad and you need a replacement, we’ll arrange with MasterCard for a temporary card to be delivered to you within 48 hours. The temporary card won’t be chip and pin enabled so it may not be accepted in some locations without additional ID. In most cases you’ll need to provide photo ID to receive the card. If this has also been lost or stolen, MasterCard will discuss available options with you.
