Investments have the potential to produce a better return than savings over the medium to long term.
However the value of investments can go down as well as up (unlike savings accounts). You may get back less than you invest, so depending on your circumstances investing may not be right for you.
As with savings, you can choose to keep some money inside or outside an ISA. Our award-winning stocks and shares ISA is a tax efficient way of investing inside an ISA and we also have an Investment Account if you’ve used up your annual ISA allowance.
At Santander you can choose to make your own investment decisions or to seek advice.
