To change your account details you will need to complete and return the Change of Details form. Once complete please return the form to Santander Business Banking, Bridle Road, Bootle L30 4GB. If you require assistance with your request please call the Business Banking contact centre on 0800 731 6666. Servicing lines are open between 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays. Sales lines are open between 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
If your business is a Club or Society, you’ll need to complete the Change of Details form for Clubs and Societies.
We take your business current account fee automatically from your account on the monthly anniversary of the day your account was opened. For example, if your account was opened on 15th January, your account will automatically be debited on the 15th of every month, or the nearest working day after.
No, providing you repay any outstanding overdraft on your previous account as required by your old bank or building society. If there are any problems with payments as part of the switching process, your new bank or building society will correct them and ensure your credit rating is not affected.

Examples of businesses that would not qualify for the Start-Up Business Current Account include:
An existing business that is changing its legal entity type e.g. from Sole Trader to Partnership

Santander UK plc is an authorised deposit taker and accepts deposits under this name and the cahoot & Santander Corporate and Commercial Bank trading names. Your eligible deposits are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK's deposit protection scheme.
The FSCS protects most depositors, including individuals, companies and small local authorities. On 30 January 2017 protection was increased from £75,000 to £85,000 per customer. This means that two individual customers with a joint account will have protection of £170,000.
Some links to literature items on this website will still state the previous compensation limit of £75,000. We’re doing our best to update this as soon as possible, but please be reassured eligible deposits will be protected up to £85,000.

When you close your account, we will provide you with up to 5 years of payment transaction history in an electronic format. If you have Online Banking, it’s already available by downloading your previous statements from your document store.
If you don’t have Online Banking, an electronic copy of your payment transaction history is still available, but you’ll need to request Online Banking log on details to be able to view and download this information. Visit the Online Banking page to find out how to sign up.
If you don’t want your payment transaction history right now you can still ask for it for up to 5 years after closing your account, but we will only provide your payment transaction history for that period when your account was open in the 5 years before your request.
