Changes to how often we send paper statements

We’re changing how often we send you paper statements

If you receive paper statements for your current account, we plan to send them once every three months. This change will not impact you if you’ve already opted to be paper-free, already told us you want to continue receiving monthly statements, or if you receive your statements in an alternative format (such as braille or large print).

What you need to do

If you want to continue receiving monthly paper statements you’ll need the unique reference number included within your March 2017 statement. Please click below to let us know, it’s quick and easy, and you don’t need to log on to Online Banking.

If you receive paper statements, and you’re happy to receive them once every three months, we’ll make the necessary changes. You don’t need to do anything else.
 

What will happen next?

  • If you’re happy to receive statements every three months these will start in August 2017, covering the previous three months. You’ll continue receiving a monthly paper statement until at least May 2017.

  • Your statement period will remain monthly, as now, and you’ll be able to see your monthly account statement by logging on to Online Banking and clicking on ‘e-Documents’.

  • A monthly paper statement is also available to order by post at any time from one of our branches or by calling us on 0800 9 123 123

  • If you incur overdraft charges or paid or unpaid transaction fees in any monthly statement period, we’ll write to you separately, in advance with details of any fees incurred before they are taken from your account.    

  • If you want to continue receiving paper monthly paper statements and you’ve let us know this then nothing will change.
