Santander UK has today made reductions to selected fixed rates across its purchase, remortgage, and buy-to-let range. It is also launching a range of new buy-to-let two-year tracker products, up to 75% LTV.

The latest findings from the Santander Trade Barometer indicate almost a third (28%) of UK companies now expect more than half their revenue to come from international markets in the next 12 months. That figure has doubled in the last two years. 

Santander has launched a prize draw for new and existing customers investing through the Santander Investment Hub, with customers who invest at least £1,000 able to win back their investment up to a maximum of £20,000. Three lucky winners will be selected monthly across April, May and June 2024.

From today, customers aged between 20 to 25 can get a free four-year Santander Railcard when they open any Santander current account before 30 April 2024.

From Tuesday 9 April, Santander will be making a number of changes to its lending criteria. The changes will enable would-be homebuyers to access a wider range of products.

Santander has confirmed that it will be ending its £185 switcher offer today, with switch requests accepted until 23:59 04 April 2024. The bank has seen strong demand in switching requests since the switcher offer was launched on 18 March 2024.
