iZettle offers a mobile card acceptance terminal for businesses that want to take payments remotely. It is a pay as you go terminal with an exclusive 50% cashback offer on the cost of the device for Santander business current account customers, on completion of your first customer card transaction.

Who is iZettle for?

iZettle's card acceptance terminal could be great for businesses who want to take card payments:

  • outside of any fixed premises (such as at a customer's home or payment for taxi fares) or

  • from temporary locations (such as a market stall or exhibition). 

How does it work?

iZettle’s mobile card terminal links to your smartphone* or tablet via Bluetooth and works from anywhere with wifi or 3G/4G coverage.

  • Provides Chip & PIN security.

  • Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Electron and V Pay cards are accepted.

  • Take up to £200,000 per day in card payments. £5,000 is the single transaction limit per card. 

  • Settlement within 3 days on balances up to £25,000. For every additional £25,000, an extra day settlement will be required.

  • You can also e-mail receipts to your customers.

What does it cost?

  • One off set up costs £59 inc VAT per device.

  • 50% cashback on the cost of the device on the successful set up of the account and completion of your first card transaction. Exclusive to Santander business current account customers only.

  • Pay as you go - standard fee of 2.75% per card reader transaction (fee reduces dependant upon volume and value of transactions).

  • Transactions made without using the card reader are charged at a higher rate.

Offer for new iZettle customers:

As well as the 50% cashback offer, new customers who join iZettle between 3 November 2014 and 31 December 2014 will also receive:

  • Fee free transactions up to £2,000: This offer is valid for a month following your successful registration, after which you will pay the standard fee of 2.75% per transaction.

  • 30-day money back period if you are not completely satisfied with the device.
