Our business structure
We are a full-service retail and commercial bank with unique position and meaningful scale. Our business comprises three customer business segments, supported by central functions within Corporate Centre.
Retail Banking offers a wide range of products and financial services to individuals and small businesses through a network of branches and ATMs, as well as through telephony, digital, mobile and intermediary channels.
Retail Banking also includes Santander Consumer Finance, predominantly a vehicle finance business.
Commercial Banking offers a wide range of products and financial services to customers through a network of regional Corporate Business Centres and through telephony and digital channels.
The management of our customers is organised according to their annual turnover, enabling us to offer a differentiated service to SMEs and mid corporate customers.
Global Corporate Banking
Global Corporate Banking services corporate clients, and financial institutions that, because of their size, complexity or sophistication, require specially-tailored services or value-added wholesale products.
It offers risk management and other value-added financial services to large corporates and financial institutions, as well as to the rest of Santander UK's businesses.
Corporate Centre predominantly consists of the non-core corporate and treasury legacy portfolios. Corporate Centre is also responsible for managing capital and funding, balance sheet composition and structure and strategic liquidity risk. The non-core corporate and treasury legacy portfolios are being run-down and/or managed for value
