MyBusinessBank Test Data

MyBusinessBank.co.uk will allow users to download transactional data and export this information into a variety of 3rd party financial software packages. Below you can find a number of files containing Generic Test Data. These can be downloaded and used to select the required Format.

File Transfer

File transfer is used by customers who have large quantities of transactional data to download and manage. Data is available in four file formats and they are:

  • Standard Format
  • APACS Format
  • Standard Format CSV
  • APACS Format CSV

The layouts of these file formats are available for download below. Also available for download below are files of generic test data which provide a graphic representation of the data formats and which can be used to test their compatibility with your systems. Please ensure that you remove the first line from each file before you attempt to process it.

Export of Data

Once you have downloaded your balances and transaction data you are able to export the data into a number of formats for management by third party software packages.

The export facility is split into two areas Standard and Customised.

Standard Export Facility

The Standard Export facility allows balance and transaction data to be exported in one of the following formats:

  • Swift MT940
  • Swift MT 942
  • Quicken 2002
  • Quicken 2003
  • Quick Books
  • QIF
  • BAI II
  • MS Money
  • New Lotus Transactions
  • New Lotus Statements
  • Old Lotus Transactions
  • Old Lotus Statements

Each of these "Profiles" may then be saved as a Profile for future use.

Custom Export Facility

The Custom Export facility allows data to be exported in one of the following formats:

  • Fixed Length Value
  • Semicolon Separated Value
  • Tab Separated Value
  • Comma Separated Value

However the contents and the individual fields to be exported may be selected by the user and then saved as a Profile for future use.
