Includes all major retailers, UK train operating companies, online train ticket retailers and trains operated in Northern Ireland by NI Railways. 3% cashback applies on spend up to £300 a month on either petrol or rail and TfL travel or a combination of these. Purchases not eligible for cashback include (a) TfL travelcards, passes and Oyster Card top up purchases made at newsagents, garages and off-licences (b) NI Railways train tickets purchased online (c) Eurotunnel Le Shuttle and (d) train ticket purchases from travel agents or tour operators. 2. Balance transfer rate from date of account opening. The smallest amount you can transfer is £100. The total amount of transferred balances may not be more than 95% of your credit limit. If the total transfer you ask for is above your available credit limit, we may allow you to transfer part of this amount. You cannot transfer balances from other Santander Group accounts (including cahoot). At the end of the 0% period, if you haven't paid off the amount of the balance transfer in full, interest will become payable on the remaining amount at your standard balance transfer rate.
3. Purchase rate from date of account opening. At the end of the 0% period, if you haven't paid off the amount of the purchases in full, interest will become payable on the remaining amount at your standard purchase rate.
4. Bonus Cashback Terms
1.From 1 November 2013 to 31 January 2014 inclusive (the ‘Promotional Period’) you will earn 1% cashback for each £1 of Net Purchases made with your Santander 123 Credit Card (‘123 Credit Card’) at Amazon.co.uk (including digital downloads, Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards and Gift Certificates, an Amazon Prime subscription and items sold by third-party merchants at Amazon.co.uk) and Javari.co.uk and for Audible.co.uk and Lovefilm.com subscriptions (each, a ‘Qualifying Purchase’). ‘Net Purchases’ are purchases of goods and services made by you or any additional cardholder on your 123 Credit Card minus any returns or refunds, and do not include balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travellers’ cheques, foreign currency, and money orders, any cheques that access your account, any amount over your credit limit, interest, unauthorised or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. 2. Purchases made at Amazon.com, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.co.jp, Amazon.ca or any other website operated by Amazon.com or its affiliates or subsidiaries are not Qualifying Purchases and are not eligible for 1% cashback. 3. There is no limit to the amount of cashback that can be earned on Qualifying Purchases when using your 123 Credit Card during the Promotional Period. 4. No cashback will be payable under this promotion in respect of: 4.1. purchases that are not Qualifying Purchases; or 4.2. Qualifying Purchases that you subsequently cancel or return for a refund. Any Qualifying Purchases refunded to your 123 Credit Card will be deducted from the total of your Qualifying Purchases for the month in which the refund is made; or 4.3. any spending which, in any one month, exceeds your credit limit. 5. Cashback may be suspended and not earned if you break any of the terms and conditions of your 123 Credit Card Agreement, for example: 5.1. If the minimum payment due on your 123 Credit Card has not reached your 123 Credit Card account by the payment due date; 5.2. If your payment to your 123 Credit Card is returned unpaid; 5.3. If you are over your credit limit; or 5.4. If you enter into an arrangement with your creditors or are made bankrupt. 6. If your 123 Credit Card account is closed or suspended (except where your 123 Credit Card is lost or stolen) after you have earned cashback but before that cashback has been applied to your 123 Credit Card account, that cashback will be lost. 7. The total cashback earned each month will be credited to your next monthly 123 Credit Card statement. Your cashback reward will appear on your statement as ‘Amazon.co.uk bonus cashback’ for all Qualifying Purchases. 8. The cashback offer is supplied by Santander Cards Limited and not Amazon EU S.àr.l. or its affiliates. Neither Amazon EU S.àr.l. nor its affiliates are a sponsor of this cashback promotion.
