If you have a Santander Bank Account, you can register now using your debit card. If you have a Credit Card only, please call 0845 602 0350 to register for Online Banking which now includes access to our Mobile Banking service.

What makes our banking site secure?
Image & Phrase
We use a unique image and a phrase combination that is a shared secret between you and us. This not only assures you that you're logging into a genuine Santander website, it also enables us to recognise that it's you logging in as we can identify the computer(s) you normally use and your log in details.
Therefore, even if a fraudster gets hold of your Customer ID and PIN, we will stop them logging into your account if we don't recognise the characteristics of your computer.
If you visited one of our branches, we'd recognise your face and you ours. Our extra level of security does the same thing over the internet. It's a way of identifying us to you and you to us.
One Time Passcode (OTP)
One Time Passcode (referred to as 'OTP') is a system where we will send a unique one off passcode to your mobile phone that you then enter into Online Banking in order for us to verify that it is safe for us to set up a new payment or transaction.
The good news is that you only need to register a mobile phone number with us to use it, and will not have to remember any new passwords or carry a separate device such as a card reader. OTP is only used when you want us to set up new payment instructions (for the first time only), or change some important information (like your contact details).
Rapport Security Software
Online fraudsters are using more sophisticated methods to commit online fraud. They use hard to detect techniques to steal your online identity when you bank online. They do this without you even knowing that it has happened.
Rapport doesn't replace the benefits of anti-virus and firewall software or your unique image and phrase when accessing our internet banking - it works alongside them to provide increased protection when transacting online.

Alternatively (or if you're under 16), you can register by calling 0845 9724 724 (7am-11pm Monday to Saturday and 9am-6pm on Sunday) or visiting your local branch (please bring identification plus your VISA debit card or account passbook). Find your nearest branch.

If you are a Business Banking customer please call 0845 607 0666 to register (8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 8am-1pm Saturday).

Register your Credit Card for Santander Online Banking
You can take complete control of your Santander credit card with Online Banking too. Simply call 0845 602 0350 with your details (7am-11pm Monday to Sunday).
Register for e-mortgage service
If you are an existing Flexible Mortgage customer register now for the e-mortgage service by calling 0845 600 0346 and selecting Option 6 (8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-2pm Saturday). If you're a Santander Mortgage customer, you can switch to a Flexible Mortgage by calling 0800 028 0064 (8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 8am-4pm Saturday).
