What you´ll need to apply

• Your home address(es) for the last three years
• Your bank account details (sort code and account number)
• Your employer's name, address and postcode
• Details of any Santander accounts you may hold
• Details of your income and expenditure

You can apply if you:

• Are aged at least 21 and have a regular income
• Are a resident in the UK (or have a BFPO address)
• Have managed your previous financial commitments without any problems
• Have no outstanding County Court Judgements
• Have a current account to receive the loan and make repayments

• You can apply online and take advantage of our excellent rate of 8.9% typical for loans of £7,500 to £14,950 for existing Santander customers.

To apply for a Personal Loan, you need to be a UK resident aged at least 21. You’ll also need to have a regular income and be able to show us you’ve managed your finances without any problems in the past.

**Personal Loan Payment Protection Insurance is optional and does not affect the likelihood of being accepted for your borrowing. Personal Loan Payment Protection Insurance is provided by Aviva.

•  Personal Loan Payment Protection Insurance is designed to help protect your loan repayments in the event of accident, sickness, involuntary unemployment or if you leave work to become a carer for an immediate family member. In the event of your death, the outstanding loan balance could be repaid.
• If you are making a joint loan application, only the first named applicant can apply for Personal Loan Payment Protection Insurance.

If you apply for Personal Loan Payment Protection Insurance, you must meet the eligibility conditions. These can be found in the Policy summary, which also includes important information on what is and is not covered, and what happens if your circumstances change or you cancel your insurance.
