Account Alerts by SMS or email
As part of our Online Banking service, we offer customers a FREE email and sms alerts service to help you keep informed and manage finances.
If you're a user of Online Banking and have a Banking, Savings or Credit Card account, you will be able to set up a variety of alerts.
What alerts can I set up?
Banking & Savings:
If you have a Banking or Savings account with Santander and are logged on to Online Banking, you can set up and receive the following alerts by email or SMS or both:
Overdrafts:
If you have a Banking or Savings account with Santander and are logged on to Online Banking, you can set up and receive the following alerts by email or SMS or both:
Credit Cards:
If you have a Santander branded Credit Card and are logged on to Online Banking, you can set up and receive the following alerts by email or SMS or both:
What do I do next?
Already using Online Banking? Log On, select 'Account Services' tab and choose 'Account Alerts' from the left hand menu and follow the on screen instructions.
Don't currently use Online Banking? You need to register for Online Banking and log on to set up your Account Alerts.
You can Register online using your debit card or alternatively you can call 0845 9724 724* to request your Online Banking log on details. These should arrive within 5 - 7 working days and will allow you to start using Online Banking and set up your alerts.
