Opening one of our capital guaranteed products
The best way to apply for one of our capital guaranteed products is to visit your local branch where you can talk to a Santander advisor and discuss your options in more detail before making a final decision. You can find your local branch using our branch finder or call us on 0845 7654321 to arrange an appointment in branch. Lines are open 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday.
Remember, you'll need to bring to your appointment some proof of your name and address. See a list of acceptable proof of identification
Alternatively, if after you have read the important documents listed below you can send your application to use via post by following a few simple steps outlined below.

The first two documents listed below must be downloaded regardless of which investment option you choose along with the relevant Key Features and Term Sheet. You must carefully read the information provided before making a final decision and keep copies for future reference.

Ensure you are happy with your selected investment, if you have any doubt whether the investment you have chosen is right for you, one of our advisers will be happy to talk to you with no obligation. You can also talk to an independent adviser - you may need to pay to do this.
If you are happy to proceed here’s what you need to do next:
1. Ensure you have carefully read the documentation provided
2. Complete the relevant application form
3. Send your completed application form together with
- your proof of identification (which will be returned to you) and;
- a cheque (made payable to yourself) for the opening amount
4. Post your application to:
