International Student Account
The International Student Account gives you a Visa Debit card, one free deposit of a foreign cheque per month and pays you a high interest rate on balances up to £500, all for just a £5 monthly account fee.
We will not pay you interest on any amount over £500, or on your whole balance if you do not pay at least £50 into your account each month.
You can only apply for this account in branch. Please find your most convenient branch using our branch finder.
AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and shows what the interest would be if we paid interest and added it each year. The gross rate is the rate payable before income tax deduction. Rates may change and we pay interest each month.
