How to Apply

Instant Access Saver

What you'll need to apply:

• Your personal and address details
• A valid email address

You can apply if:

• You are at least 16 years of age and a UK resident
• Your opening balance is at least £1,000

What you need to do.

• You should read Santander's Terms of Business, the Instant Access Saver current savings rates, the general terms and conditions, the Savings User Guide, and the Instant Access Saver fact-sheet. We also recommend that you save and/or print these documents for your records. They are all in PDF format, so you will need Adobe Acrobat to view them.
• You need to complete the online application form from the 'apply now' link. This should take about 10 minutes
• We suggest that you add ' customerservices@Santander.co.uk ' to your email contacts. This should help prevent our emails to you being filtered out by your internet service provider.

What we do:

• We aim to process your application and send you an email, within five working days (please remember to allow for weekends and Bank Holidays).
• This email will either be a welcome e mail to confirm that your account is opened, or to ask you to provide some proof of ID before we can open your account. Click here to find out why we need to see this information
• Please note that once you have opened your account you will not be able to service it online but in branch or over the phone.  Your account ownership letter, which you will need to take into branch to transact on the account, will be sent to the address you provided at the same time as your welcome e mail (please allow a few days for postal delivery)
