How do I switch to Santander – and what’s the interest rate?
It’s easy to switch using our free switcher service. We currently offer an excellent rate of 6% AER / 5.84% gross (fixed) on balances up to £2,500 for 12 months. A minimum monthly credit of £1,000 each month is required.
What type of companies can open a bank account?
The following company types can open a Business Bank Account: Sole Trader, Partnerships, Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Clubs, Societies and Unincorporated Associations and Charities.
Can I open an account without a fixed business address?
Yes, you can use your home address but it must be a UK address.
What will I need to open an account?
As well as completing an application form, you’ll need to provide ID from the list of acceptable forms of ID
How long will it take to open my bank account?
It usually takes between 3 and 5 working days from Santander receiving the completed application to open a new account.
How long until I receive my card?
You will receive your card within 10 working days of your application being accepted.
